Call for ideas now open
An invitation to providers, practitioners and sector experts to propose session ideas for the 2027 conference.
Be a part of the big conversation
The National Support at Home Conference is Australia’s largest event built for the Support at Home sector. Over two days at Marvel Stadium, Melbourne and online, providers hear from sector leaders, with last year’s conference drawing over 750 attendees.
The program will focus on what is working in Support at Home now, with practical approaches other providers can take back and use.
Six topic areas for 2027
Proposals should address one or more of these areas.
Financial Performance
Improving financial performance while managing rising costs, pricing pressures and funding challenges. Practical ways to build financially stronger organisations.
Workforce & Capacity
Tackling recruitment, retention, Care Partner workloads and workforce shortages. Practical approaches to managing caseloads, improving productivity and building capacity.
Making Every Package Count
Making limited funding go further while meeting older people’s needs and expectations. Balancing care delivery, consumer outcomes and financial performance.
Smarter Operations
Reducing administration and improving efficiency through better systems, technology, AI and smarter workflows.
Quality, Risk & Accountability
Meeting compliance and governance obligations without unnecessary administration. Managing risk, associated providers and quality of care.
Strategy & the Next Phase
Preparing for the next stage of Support at Home through growth, partnerships, new service models and organisational change.

What makes a strong idea
Check your idea against these five tests before you submit.
No paid speaking spots
The conference does not sell speaking spots. Sessions are selected on merit. Sponsorship is separate.
Practical
Shows what you did, how you did it and what changed. Results, numbers and examples beat principles.
Current
Based on your experience of Support at Home as it operates now.
Transferable
Gives other providers something they can adapt in their own organisation.
Honest
Includes what did not work and what you would do differently.
Not a sales pitch
Proposals that promote a product or service will not be accepted as program sessions.
